Lougheed House is looking forward to a great year in 2010!
Lougheed House is looking for a part-time, Historic Interpreter to work weekends and occasional evenings in the beautifully restored, national historic site. The ideal candidate will be a well spoken, enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with the public and sharing a piece of unique Calgary History. The Interpreter will take the public on one hour house tours as well as set up and lead interpretive stations in the house. Lougheed House in partnership with the Alberta Society of Artists have opened a public gallery in the ballroom of Lougheed House. Visitors can view and purchase the fantastic art pieces. Visit www.lougheedhouse.com for more information.
Lougheed House is looking forward to a great year in 2010. Renovations will commence at the beginning of January for one month. After the renovations, the house, gift shop, and restaurant will all be operating as normal offering a variety of exciting, historical, and educational workshops and school programs.
